Limited transportation will be provided from the Sanctuary Hotel to the Ocean Course. Shuttles will promptly leave The Sanctuary at 3:45 PM for the ceremony and will return at the end of the night. Guests are welcome to drive their own vehicles or take on island transportation. Kiawah Island offers a complimentary shuttle service for all resort locations from 7:00AM to 10:30PM. To request a ride, please call 843-768-2900 extension 82900. Please allow for an additional 20-30 minutes for pick up and drop off to your desired location. There are NO Uber or Lyft services available on the island.
Kiawah Island shuts down at 11:00PM. If you want to continue the party after that time, we suggest stopping at Freshfields to grab your favorite beverage before arriving at your hotel.
Kiawah Island is a private community. There are two security gates, one on entry to the island and one mid island. Guests will be issued paper passes at the first security gate. Please place on the dashboard of your vehicle for the duration of your visit. Also, please mention you are on-site for the Craft-King wedding.
You can drive your car, walk, run or ride a bike! There is no public transportation, golf cart transportation, or ride share service on the Island. The Kiawah Island Resort provides shuttle service for resort guests to its affiliated golf clubs and restaurants. The shuttle requires 30 minute notice and runs from 7 AM at 10:30 PM. The Kiawah Island Golf Resort operates most island amenities including five championship golf courses, beaches, The Sanctuary Hotel and Villas and Resort dining. The Kiawah Island Club is a private club. Access to the Club and its amenities is limited to members and their families and is separate from Kiawah Island Golf Resort.
