Answer

Question

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is South Georgia casual! Button down shirts and slacks for the gents and flowy summer dresses, skirts, or pants for the ladies! Our colors are sage, champagne, emerald, and light gray if you want to join in the fun! Cowboy hats and flower crowns are highly encouraged!

Question

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but it is South Georgia, which tends to be a little more humid than the rest of the state. Keep an eye on the weather for Waynesville, GA and pack some sunscreen just in case!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held outdoors. If the weather is noncooperative, our ceremony will be held inside The Hunter Barn, which is climate controlled.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures around the property. Guests are welcome to enjoy the scenery and drinks until the reception begins!

Question

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue(s)?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for our wedding, but our ceremony and reception are taking place in the same area. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving. Please stay safe and default to carpooling if you plan to drink.

Question

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

While we wish we could celebrate every moment of this journey with everyone, we do have to limit certain events. All guests will receive invitations and RSVP cards for specific events. Please make sure to RSVP as soon as you can!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We sure hope you’ll be able to join us for your special day. With your invitation, there is an RSVP card that you can fill out and return, or feel free to click on the RSVP section of our website and let us know your plans right here! Please make sure to RSVP by April 30, 2025.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please return your RSVP by April 30th, 2025 so we have time to buy enough food for everyone! You can return the card in your invitation or click over to the RSVP section of our wedding website!

Question

Can I bring my kids? Will there be a babysitter?

Answer

Since we have huge extended families and most of our friends have young children, we’ve chosen to limit our guest list to thirteen-year-olds and over, and we hope you understand. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Question

Can I bring my partner?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Question

I can’t attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

We hate you won't be able to join us! We'd like to keep our ceremony intimate and unplugged, so we will not be offering a live stream of our wedding.

Answer

We do not have a hotel block setup, however if you click over to the travel section of our wedding website, we have listed several hotel options in the area!

Answer

Yes, though there are areas that are not paved (grass and dirt only).
