FAQs

If you have any questions other than what we have listed here, you may contact the bride at (530) 320-3258
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We encourage you to take this as an opportunity to dress up! That being said, the ceremony will take place outdoors, and the coast can be windy and cold. There will also be a 5-10 minute walk to the ceremony site, on a dirt trail. Be sure to choose clothing appropriate for the weather, and shoes that you will be comfortable walking in. Ladies may find that they are most comfortable in a longer dress or jumper with low heels or flats, and gentlemen may want to opt for an ensemble with a suit jacket or sport coat. We also request that you dress in neutral shades, such as black, white, browns, and tans, so our pictures look cohesive and fabulous!

Question

Does the wedding have a theme?

Answer

No, not exactly. We are going for a "vibe" rather than a theme, and hope for a very minimal, clean aesthetic. We do ask that you stick to attire that is mostly black, white (yes, you read that right; you're welcome to wear white, just please don't wear an actual wedding dress) beige, tan, or brown! This will help photos look more cohesive and purposeful.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, and it is important to note that the location of the ceremony can be windy and quite cold. Please prepare accordingly.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception going to take place at the same location?

Answer

They will not. The ceremony will take place on the bluffs over looking the beach just north of Fort Bragg. The dinner to follow will be held at the Wharf, a local restaurant that’s just a short drive away.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we will be staying behind to take group photos of the family and bridal party, following which we will be taking newlywed photos. At this time, guests are welcome to start making their way to the dinner location, where they can grab a drink at the bar, or take the down time during newlywed photography to walk around downtown Fort Bragg, check out the beach, or grab a drink at one of the local breweries or winery. Be advised there will be about a 2 hour gap between the end of the ceremony and dinner.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you are unable to attend, please RSVP "no" as soon as you know for sure, so that we can plan accordingly. You can do this under the RSVP tab. Be advised that anyone who has not RSVP’d by August first will be marked as not attending.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

You can park at 33100 Church School Ln, Fort Bragg, CA. Parking will be free.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The venue is located at 100 Church School Ln., Fort Bragg, CA 95437. You'll want to head north on Highway 1, go all the way through the town of Fort Bragg, and about 1.5 miles out of town there will be a sign for a Montessori school on your left hand side. Immediately after that sign you'll want to turn left on Church School Ln. The venue will be the second property on the right.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to the wedding start time, as the walk from the parking area to the beach can take a few minutes.

Question

Is there a registry? If so, where?

Answer

Yes! The bride and groom have registered right here on the website! Just go to the main menu and select the Registry tab. You will find that in lieu of physical gifts, the bride and groom are asking that you donate to their honeymoon fund and contribute to the lifelong memories that they will create after the wedding celebration.
