We're so excited to celebrate with you!

It was back in the wee early days of 2018 where we were introduced by mutual friends at various gatherings (kikis, as some would say). We found ourselves always bopping around to the same shows and spending all our time together. After a discussion of 'Does having each other on Find My Friends mean we're dating?', we made it official... which then turned into meeting each other's families (although the first time Tim was supposed to meet the Joos, we overslept . Sorry umma and appa!), going on fun trips exploring new places, and eating and drinking our way through Chicago. After a magical 4th of July out by Diversey Harbor with our friends in 2019, we were watching the fireworks and had a realization we wanted to get married and spend the rest of our lives together. We wanted to skip the whole element of surprise for each other and instead, came up with a plan to surprise our friends and family by gathering them together at our joint birthday party in early December and instead made it an engagement party. It was a lovely evening being around our friends & family, supporting our decision of forever love. After spending most of our so far adult lives in Chicago, we made a leap to move to Austin to pursue Tim's dream of starting his own practice and now work together at Modern Pediatrics. It's been awesome exploring a new city with our wonderful pup, Ruth, and are so glad to come back to the city we fell in love in to officially get hitched!
