Shuttle to the Ceremony

Onsite parking is limited so we strongly encourage all guests to utilize the provided transportation. Plus, getting crunk and then driving home is no bueno! Round trip transportation will be provided to the wedding venue at The Farm with two pick-up/drop-off locations - 16 Church Street in front of Old Edwards Spa and 200 Main. Transportation to the wedding venue will start at 4:30 PM EST. The last bus to the wedding venue will be at 5:15 PM. Busses will run in 10-15 minute increments. Busses will depart from the wedding venue and return guests to Old Edwards Inn & Spa or 200 Main starting at 8:00 PM.

The quaint town of Highlands, NC is a hidden jewel nestled within the Blue Ridge Mountains surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest and situated atop a plateau at elevation 4118 feet. This charming, Nicholas Sparks vibes, european style town is considered one of the most romantic resort destinations in the South. Highlands is a very popular destination so please do not wait until the last minute to book accommodations! The town is small with only boutique hotels so it does get booked up very fast. The closest chain hotels are 25-45 minutes away on the far side of Cashiers or in Franklin. The Hotels listed below are not the only options by any means! You can also find a variety of options from true cabins in the middle of nowhere to apartments and suites in the heart of highlands on Vrbo and AirBnB. There are some absolute gems available for less per night than a hotel room, especially if you coordinate with friends or family to share a larger home. Overwhelmed? Confused?
