Roanoke Regional Airport
Albeit small, Roanoke Airport (ROA) is by far the closest and most convenient to the venue. Lynchburg Regional Airport (LYH) and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) are the next closest - approximately 46 & 119 miles away, respectively. Another option we have done to avoid a layover is fly into Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) since it's an American hub (191 miles away). Airlines that fly into Roanoke - United, Delta, American, Allegiant* *Allegiant is an absolute cheat code if you are close to an airport that services it - 100% recommend!
Train
Amtrak
If you are traveling from DC or the general vicinity, Amtrak is another fun option. Incredibly inexpensive and comfortable! We would recommend booking your train further out if this is the method of transportation you want, as Roanoke's train station has limited time options.
