Dock Square
Perfect place to window shop, or do some damage. Walkable from any of the hotel recommendations, and the main town center for the Kennebunks. Plenty of amazing local shops and restaurants.
Walker's Point
Walker's Point is the picturesque summertime estate of the Bush family. It's a fantastic walk to take along Ocean Avenue on the water. Mary, Riley, and Rory like to take this walk from The Colony Hotel to shop for houses they absolutely cannot afford!
Nunan's Lobster Hut
Best place to go for fresh Maine lobsters. Make sure you get the twin lobster special and the blueberry pie! Cash only and no reservations.
The Colony Hotel's Marine Room
If you've ever heard Mary or Riley refer to "pool lunch," this is where you get it! The Colony's Marine room is next to its heated saltwater pool and is great for both food and drinks. Their finest offerings consist of Roy Rogers, heavy on the grenadine, and Gold Brick Sundaes, emphasis on the sundae. You can also buy a day pass to enjoy the pool itself if you're not a guest at the hotel.
The Boathouse Restaurant
Excellent waterfront lunch or dinner option with outdoor and indoor seating. Delicious raw bar along with a full menu of land and seafood options. Mary and Riley recommend the Tuna Poke Bowl and Big Fish sandwich! No reservations.
Mabel's Lobster Claw
Mabel's has classic New England dishes. One of Riley's top five favorite meals is served here, so make sure you order the Baked Stuffed Shrimp for him. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but they do take reservations!
