Question

Have the wedding plans been changed due to Covid-19? Will it be cancelled or rescheduled?

Answer

No. We will not be cancelling or rescheduling; however, we encourage our attendees to attend ONLY IF they feel comfortable coming. If you are unable to attend, we understand! Your health is our priority! Please visit these websites for up-to-date data https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-updates/county-map.html?state=SC and https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-updates/cases-in-us.html for more information about the current situation for Charleston SC.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be at Founders Hall in Charles Town Landing at 1500 Old Towne Rd, Charleston, SC 29407. https://goo.gl/maps/MRNTx5nydKfvEGXD6

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5pm. We suggest that you arrive by 4:30pm so you can comfortably park, find your seat, and settle in.

Question

Is there parking close to the venue?

Answer

Yes. The venue has its own parking lot. If you need to Uber from the wedding, your vehicle can be left at the Founders Hall parking lot overnight.

Question

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

Answer

To make it easier for you, we’re offering either option!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

At the latest, we need to know by September 7, 2020...but the sooner we know the better!

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail attire, semi-formal or dressy casual.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for him to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We request that any additional desired guests not addressed on the invitation envelope are confirmed with the bride or groom prior to the wedding date.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Absolutely! We do request that any children and other guests not originally addressed on the invitation be verified with the bride or groom prior to the wedding day.

Question

Are we registered anywhere?

Answer

Yup! We have registries with Amazon, Wayfair, and Bed Bath and Beyond. A link to each registry is located on the “Registry” tab.
