Flight
We recommend flying into the Frankfurt airport (FRA). There is then a direct train from the airport to Bacharach Hbf (Train: RE 2) that takes ~53 minutes. Once in Bacharach there is a regional train that can be ridden two stops to Trechtingshausen (Train: RB26). The Trechtingshausen station sits within walking distance of Burg Reichenstein.

The linked google maps pin will take you to the town where we recommend staying. There is one train (Train: RE 2) that will take you directly from the Frankfurt Airport to Bacharach. Once in Bacharach, you can take a taxi to the venue or switch trains and travel two more stations to Trechtingshausen.

This is the closest train station to the venue. From here it is an ~5 min walk to the venue. Once in Bacharach, transfer trains and go two stops further (Train: RB26). Then walk up the hill towards the castle.
