Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Mary Ohm and Joseph Salyer
Here for the big day and have some extra time? Wichita has no shortage of things to do and see. From the seventh-largest zoo in the country to lush botanical gardens and unique museums, the city is full of charm and unexpected gems. You’ll also find a vibrant local scene with amazing restaurants, eclectic shops, and a thriving arts community. Whether you’re into nature, history, craft drinks, or just exploring someplace new—there’s something here for everyone! The Bride and Groom's favorites: Take a walk down by the Arkansas River and see the Keeper of the Plains (they light a ring of fire around the Keeper every evening around 9pm) Go visit the tomb of Venerable Fr. Kapaun at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Grab a coffee or cocktail at Pennant Coffee right below Odd Fellow Hall Enjoy the free smells of spices, tea leaves, and coffee beans at The Spice Merchant Become a plant mom or dad at GROW plant shop where you can sip a cocktail and explore their DIY plant bar
