Beaches
St John has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We like Hawksnest, Trunk, Cinnamon, and Maho (where we got engaged.) Bring your snorkel gear, or rent a set in Cruz Bay. You’ll see beautiful fish, coral, and maybe even a turtle!
Hike
St John is approximately 60% protected National Park. There are miles of well marked trails in varying degrees of difficulty. You can see sugar plantation ruins, petroglyphs, and stunning views of the US and British Virgin Islands. Make sure to bring water and bug spray!
Shop
There are many cute shops in Cruz Bay selling jewelry, home goods, and souvenirs. Mongoose Junction is a mini shopping complex with shops, bars and restaurants, and free parking. There is also a vendor market most mornings right across from the main ferry dock.
