What happens if it rains?
Answer
We have a rain plan on the island to utilize an area that is covered (see above photo). The reception goes on rain or shine!
Question
Tell me about the ferry.
Answer
The ferry leaves from The Battery Maritime Building, located at 10 South Street every 40 minutes. You must reserve your ticket online. Adults are $3, seniors are free. If you get a ticket before noon, it is also free. There are also two ferries in Brooklyn - Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park, near the intersection of Furman St. And Atlantic Ave., and Atlantic Basin in Red Hook, near the intersection of Pioneer Street and Conover Street. The ferry ride is approximately 10-15 minutes.

What are we eating and drinking? Can I bring my own food?
Answer
We will be providing a picnic basket to each couple (or single). We are planning on filling the basket with some meat, cheese, veggies, bread, a baked good, maybe some pickles or nuts and a water. Feel free to bring your own food if you would like! The basket is yours to take home after the event!

Answer
We will be providing a blanket to each couple (or single). If you would rather a chair, please feel free to bring your own. The blanket is yours to take home after the event!

What else will we be doing besides eating?
Answer
The Island is a magical place. There are hammocks, bicycles built for two, castles, a slide, a farm and a beautiful view. After we have the ceremony and lunch, feel free to experience the magic.
