Mary and Daniel both went to the same high school. During their senior year a close friend introduced them at the lunch table. As a few days went by, Mary and Daniel started hanging out together within a group of friends. Very quickly their friends Hunter and Morgan picked up on their interest in each other and set them up.

After Mary & Daniel were texting for a few days, Daniel asked Mary to go on a date at the local pumpkin patch. They went to the pumpkin patch at Brookdale Farms and found the cutest pumpkin to carve together. Only a few days later on October 13th, 2015 Daniel asked Mary to be his girlfriend and they never looked back.

In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Daniel asked Mary to go on an "early" birthday picnic. Daniel drove Mary to "Brookdale Farms" where their first date took place. It was just the two of them which made for a very romantic engagement. He asked her to marry him and spend the rest of their lives together. Between Daniel's nursing school and the pandemic, Mary and Daniel decided to wait until June of 2022 to come together in marriage.
