What is the dress code?

Answer

Business casual? Really whatever is comfortable for you! The ceremony site is in a grassy area right on the river and then there is concrete in the barn for the reception. We will have indoor/outdoor set up, weather pending. It should be fairly warm during the day and cools off at night. Weather averages for Cascade in the month of June are a high of 71 with a low of 39, check the forecasts closer to the date and bring some layers!

Can we fish at the venue?

Answer

No. There are many places nearby to get some fishing in but the venue requests that we stay out of the river, the fountain, and away from the house during our event.

Renting a house and wondering about groceries?

Answer

There is a small store in Cascade called the D9 for a few things you may have forgotten. We would recommend stopping at the Walmart, Winco, or Albertsons on your way out of Boise/Eagle. There is also an Albertsons and Ridleys 30 minutes North in McCall.

Drive Time

Answer

It’s roughly an hour and forty minute drive to Cascade from Boise. There is a big kayak event (NFC) on the way up to Cascade. They may be closing down to one lane for parts of the day so please give yourself some extra time for traffic if you’re driving up on Saturday.
