We met at a party hosted by one of our team captains to bring the freshman in and introduce the ski team at the beginning of the school year. Anthony swept me off my feet, literally. From there we became lab partners in our first college biology course. Who would have thought that after that class we'd be getting married? Well, our friends, teammates, and even some professors might tell you they knew early on that we'd be a perfect couple. Some arguments, apologies, and a bag of Doritos later, we were lab partners in every class after that. Between early morning practices, our classes together, late night study sessions, traveling to races, and countless smoothies in McCain we became very close friends. While I was in denial that Anthony had feelings for me, I'd tell practically anyone, except for Anthony, how I felt about him. Eventually the truth came out and that is just the beginning.
