Nia and Mary met in film school in Venezuela back in 2009. With only a handful of women in their class, they were basically forced to be friends, and luckily, it stuck. Since then, they’ve been inseparable: best friends, roommates, and chosen sisters. Through the highs, the lows, and everything in between, they’ve always had each other’s backs. Fun fact: in 18 years of friendship, they’ve never had a fight. (Seriously. Not even over what movie to watch.)
Lili Velazquez

Mary and Lili met while working at a coffee shop in Chicago. At first, Mary had her eye on Lili’s job, and was very sad when Lili got it. But a few weeks later, they were inseparable. Since then, they’ve traveled the world together, from $3 hostel bunk beds to fancy Polaris seats. Wherever they go, it’s always an adventure. Fun fact: in all their years of friendship, Lili has never cooked for Mary. Not once.
Lulu Acosta

Mary and Lulu met in Tulum 10 years ago, but the real magic started on a group trip to Cuba. That’s when Mary realized Lulu might actually be crazier than she was, and from that moment on, she knew she needed Lulu in her life. They’ve been taking annual trips ever since, and Mary never misses a chance to visit her in Guadalajara. Lulu is also the reason Mary chose Punta Monterrey for the wedding, she first brought her to that little paradise seven years ago. Fun fact: Lulu taught Mary how to make The Scorpion. Please, ask her to show you at the wedding. You won’t regret it.
Aaron Meeuwsen
Best Man
Andrew and his Best Man Aaron are brothers. They were kids together, played together, fought together, grew up together, and even lived together. When Andrew moved back to Chicago in 2022, he moved close to Aaron so they could be close together once again. Fun fact: Andrew has been in only one fist fight in his entire life. The opponent? Aaron
Patrick Kneibel

Andrew and Patrick met their freshman year of college 2010. They don’t know how they met, no one does. Despite Patrick living on the opposite side of campus, one day, there he was. They spent those years growing into great friends. Fun fact: Patrick started dating Andrew’s sister in secret. He married her though, so I guess he’s forgiven.
Chris George
Groomsman
Andrew and Chris met while interviewing to be flight instructors in 2015. After only meeting the one time, they decided to be roommates. Luckily neither of them were murderers. They excelled in their careers side by side and became the best of friends along the way. Fun fact: Andrew found Chris’ dog Brady on an online hunting forum. Chris drove hours to pick him up.
