Travel Note

Parking

Our venue, Josephine, is located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria at 109 South St. Asaph Street. There is street parking (free on Sundays) along South St. Asaph Street, subject to availability. You are also welcome to park in the Courthouse Square Garage, located one block away at 111 South Pitt Street, for a flat $5 fee on weekends.

Flight

Washington National Airport (DCA)

We recommend flying into Washington National Airport (DCA), located just 3 miles from our venue. (The airport’s Metro station will unfortunately be closed on the weekend of our wedding, so a quick Uber/Lyft is the best way to get from the airport to your hotel.) Alternatively, you may fly into Dulles (IAD) or Baltimore (BWI), but these are a 45-to-55-minute drive from our venue.

Train

Metro

Due to temporary Metro station closures, it will be difficult to access our venue via Metro on the weekend of our wedding, so we’d recommend alternative travel arrangements, e.g. Uber/Lyft. (Context: As of Jan. 13, WMATA has announced intermittent closures of stations between Pentagon City and National Airport. This will make it difficult to reach King St-Old Town, the station near our venue.)
