A speakeasy-style wine bar that is one of our favorite hangout spots in Durham. It looks like you're walking into a seedy barber shop but inside it transforms into a lovely warm space with funky alc and non alc options and GREAT bar snacks.

When it's on the menu, the merguez is halal (and made in-house!).

Rue Cler Restaurant

The Duke Lemur Center is a home/sanctuary for over 200 lemurs and other bush species. It is the largest sanctuary of lemurs outside of Madagascar and is super awesome. If you're in town early, it's well worth a trip.
