We’re so excited to celebrate with you!

We met at the live action Lion King, but initially we barely paid each other any attention. Mary-Lauren actually went on a date with someone else later in the night while Andrew went to meet up with friends to see a second movie. We ended up reconvening at Mary-Lauren's house to play drinking games while blasting the Jonas Brothers, at which point we finally started to notice each other. After transitioning back to Andrew and Anthony’s house, we officially became sold on each other during one defining moment: jumping on Anthony’s bed together - beers in hand - to bang on the ceiling in retaliation for all of the noise their upstairs neighbors had made. After that, Andrew watched as Mary-Lauren attempted to play his guitar (poorly, of course). It wasn’t until Mary-Lauren was walking out the door that Andrew told her she had been playing it backwards the entire time. At which point he insisted, “Jimmy Hendrix played backwards so it’s okay.” We have been joking with, encouraging, and loving each other ever since!
