Our story began in March 2021, scooping ice cream side by side at Vanilla Bean Creamery. What started as coworkers quickly turned into something more, and soon our days were filled with simple, sweet dates. The kind that quickly became our staples: biking to the park, playing tennis, grabbing chicken tenders and chocolate milk from Martin’s, and packing picnics to enjoy on summer afternoons. We fell in love with the little moments, enjoying time together, talking for hours, and learning how easy it felt to be together. We especially loved morning dates, starting the day with coffee at the Electric Brew, taking long walks, spreading out blankets for picnics in the park, and wandering through antique stores with no real plan. Along the way, we discovered a shared love for God, music, tennis, guitar, and anything artsy. Those shared interests became the backdrop of our relationship and the way we learned to grow together. It felt only right that the proposal reflected all the things we love. At Wellfield, surrounded by nature and some of our favorite things, we brought along a picnic and watercolor paintings. It was a moment that felt completely us, and it was the perfect beginning to our next chapter together.
