Let's Celebrate!!!

We met at a party in Grand Forks with mutual friends over the summer of 2020, it was casual and didn't think much of anything at the time, Mary was back home between careers because of Covid from her job being shut down and just starting out on a new venture in Alexandria as a food director, Carter had just graduated from UND and was impressed by Mary's personalty and fun nature. They exchanged numbers and talked more and more over the summer and sparks started to fly. There were many dates meeting in Fargo, Grand Forks, Alexandria as well as Detroit Lakes for the beach and kayaking. Eventually they became official by end of July. Eventually the summer ended and Mary and Carter both moved to Fargo. The two make a wonderful pair through the good and hard times of life. They both strive for nothing less but to please others and have fun at the same time. Both open to trying new things and problem solving.

It was Christmas morning, we were on our way to Mary's family Christmas when Carter decided to take a "detour" & wanted to show Mary something at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead Minnesota. Low and behold once walking on the trail by the Stave Church, Carter brought Mary and their dog Violet over by the gaxebo archway and got down on one knee and pulled the most beautiful clear brilliant round diamond ring and asked her to marry him. Needless to say the answer was Yes and the rest is history ...(or for you to all find out soon) and take a day to celebrate our love with a unity of marriage!
