Things To Do/ Places to Eat

As our favorite vacation spot, we've found some of the best spots to visit! Here are a few of our recommendations.
Broadway at the Beach

Broadway at the Beach

Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

Year after year, Broadway at the Beach stands alone as by far the most popular tourist destination in the entire Myrtle Beach area. Check out all the great places to shop, eat, and play!

The Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk

The Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk

Murrells Inlet, SC 29576

If you are seeking places to eat and entertainment in the local area; visit the Marsh Walk. We personally recommend Wicked Tuna, Wahoo's, and Drunken Jack's.

Tanger Outlets Myrtle Beach Hwy 17

10835 Kings Road, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572

If you like outlet shopping, you'll love having TWO outlets to shop at in the area. There is one at 501 and another on Hwy 17! I recommend both but LOVE the one on Hwy 17!

WonderWorks Myrtle Beach

WonderWorks Myrtle Beach

1313 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

Great place for the kids! Check out the website for more details!

Crazy Sister Marina - Fishing Charters & Watersports

Crazy Sister Marina - Fishing Charters & Watersports

4123 U.S. 17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576
, (843) 651 – 3676

From deep sea fishing & jet skis to dolphin tours and kayak rentals, there is something for everyone!

Causeway Grill

Causeway Grill

211 Atlantic Avenue, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576

This is our first stop every year! Calamari, Jersey-style pizza, calzones, raw bar, a few drinks, maybe some night-time karaoke and you'll see why it is our favorite place!

AQUINO'S Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

AQUINO'S Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

4201 Highway 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576
, (843) 651-4616

The name has changed from Miyabi's to Aquino's, but it's still the same great experience! We recommend calling for a reservation and ask what their early bird hours are! Funny Story: On our first vacation as a couple, I introduced Marvin to Miyabi's (the restaurant has since changed names) where I thought Marvin had insulted the chef by calling him "Batman". Mortified, I looked at the chef, then at Marvin, and asked him why he would do such a thing! Marvin pointed to his nametag; low and behold, the tag showed "Batman"! We looked for Batman for several years and realized he moved to another location. You'll have to ask him about the second story where he asked several young men if they were sisters. And to think I'm still going to marry this jokester!

Hanser House

Hanser House

14360 Ocean Highway, Pawleys Island, SC 29585
, 843-235-3021

Hanser House is a family-owned restaurant located in the North Litchfield Beach section of Pawleys Island, SC. Open for dinner Monday- Saturday from 4pm until 10pm", offering an extensive menu specializing in home cooking, seafood, and choice aged beef. Love their shrimp and grits!

Rita's - Ice Custard Happiness

Rita's - Ice Custard Happiness

1208 South Ocean Boulevard, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

It might not be for everyone, but for those who appreciate a fine Italian water ice and the best custard known to man (I may or may not be exaggerating), you'll want to make Rita's at least a one-time stop, if not more. A gelati gives you the best of both worlds!

For all the days along the way
