Shark-Lover Extrordinaire, Hope’s “Love of my Loaf”, and Coldplay’s Biggest Fan Anyone who’s ever met Thea knows she is the human embodiment of a ray of sunshine. Genuine, Caring, Reliable- There simply aren’t enough words to describe such a wonderful friend. Thea and Hope met in their Highschool’s Colorguard and quickly became best friends. Along with Bridesmaid, Megan, the three were practically inseparable and could be always be found frequenting the Starbucks or Wendy’s in Fayetteville…when they weren’t practicing for guard, that is. Throughout highschool, college and now into adult life, Thea has always been Hope’s biggest confidant and shoulder to lean on, through thick and thin, and will undoubtedly be the greatest Maid of Honor.

Chick-Fil-A Devotee, Go-Cart Mechanic, and Lifelong Best Friend If you look up the definition of a Lifelong-Friend in a dictionary, you’re sure to find a picture of Jordan. He and Joseph met as children while their fathers were working at the same church. From then on, the pair has been a friendship for the ages. From building go-carts, to camping, college, and now both of their weddings, Jordan has been by Joseph’s side through it all. He is the first to know any and all big news from Joseph and will be the perfect fit for a best man.

Dog Enthusiast, Coffee Connoisseur, and Pokemon Expert As the third Pea-in-the-Pod of our high school trio, Megan has always been one of Hope’s biggest cheerleaders. She transitions flawlessly from sharp-witted jokes when you’re feeling down to the strongest hype woman when she’s celebrating your successes. The “PowerPuff Girls” trio absolutely wouldn’t be complete without her and she has stood by Hope through all the ups-and-downs of highschool, college, and now adult life. Like Thea, Hope also met Megan in the Colorguard at Whitewater Highschool.

World’s-Best-Big, Disney Addict, and Star Wars Super-Fan Having chosen each-other through the Big/Little matching process with Phi Sigma Pi, it was no coincidence that Hope and Gracyn met, nor was it a coincidence when she quickly became Hope’s best friend at UNG. Together they navigated breakups, Covid, cat adoption, and the rollercoaster of college life, even moving in together for Hope’s junior year. Gracyn was one of three people at UNG that knew Hope applied for Disney, and encouraged her throughout every step of the process. As a friend, Gracyn has always been supportive, generous, and empathetic. As Hope’s Big and even the President of ΦΣΠ, Hope has always looked up to Gracyn. She is one of the most fearless people you’ll meet, especially when it comes to defending those she cares about.

Guinea Pig Aficionado, Phi Sig Brother, and Exceptional A.T. Heidi is the most dedicated and hardest worker you’ll ever meet. Once you’ve been around her, it’s easy to see that she pours this same whole-hearted devotion into each and every one of her friends and family members. She is incredibly dependable and the most trustworthy friend imaginable. Hope and Heidi met as Brothers of Phi Sigma Pi, when Heidi was in the same initiate class as Hope’s little, Liz. During Hope’s senior year, she and Heidi became close as they lived together in Dahlonega with Liz and three other Phi Sig ladies.

Surfing Instructor, UGA Fanatic, and Fishing Buddy To know Ben is to know adventure. He shares in Joseph’s love for camping, catfishing, and all things cars. He continuously pushes both Joseph and Hope to try new things and has a fervent enthusiasm for broadening horizons. Ben and Joseph went to the same highschool, however, they did not meet until they lived across the hall from one-another during their collegiate freshman year. Following that year, they lived together until the semester Joseph left Dahlonega for Clemson. Ben is the most relaxed, easy-going friend you’ll ever meet. You simply can’t help but feel at ease being yourself around him. He and his relatives have welcomed Hope and Joseph so many times since they met that the couple simply can’t help but consider them all to be part of their family as well.

DnD Adventurer, Super-Medic, and Bartending Wizard Largely credited as the “real” reason Hope and Joseph met, Brendan has been an integral member of the support team for our happy couple from the very beginning. As an EMT, he is quick to help out and shares in Hope’s passion for medicine. Brendan’s cheerfulness, humor, and enthusiasm are infectious and he brings joy to anyone around him. He is always upbeat and the life of any party, including parties of DnD Heroes. Brendan and Joseph met via a roommate matching program at UNG, following which they lived together for 2 years.
