Mike's sappy story: Our 25th Anniversary was around the corner and I realized I was going to be traveling for work that week. Luckily, it was to a beautiful location in Southern California, and John was able to join me. He opened my card on our anniversary morning where I'd written, "will you marry me?". My intention was that I would be planning a wedding in the next year or so.
Coincidently, John also had a proposal in mind, but his was planned TODAY! He had already made an appt at the local city hall, brought rings, petit fours, thought of everything! We were married a few hours later, the most spontaneous and romantic thing I'd ever done in my life. He is an amazing human being, my best friend for 28 years and I love him with my entire heart.
