Piedmont Park and Beltline
A very short walk from the Loews Hotel, a beautiful way to spend a relaxing afternoon strolling in the park. Pickup at the Beltline from the park at the corner of Monroe & 10th Street and continue on to the most recent mixed-use development known as Ponce City Market.
Ponce City Market
A fun place to explore, full of delicious eateries and popular shops. This is the largest BRICK structure in the entire Southeast US. It was a former Sears & Roebuck catalogue facility, but recently was given a new life as an urban market with a food hall, shops & living space. Make time for a drink on the rooftop, spectacular views of the city!
High Museum of Art
During the month of May, a world-renowned collection of historical and contemporary art will be on exhibit. It is titled: What Is Left Unspoken - Love. Artworks from 1987 to 2021 that address the different ways the most important thing in life, LOVE, is expressed. As poet and painter Etel Adnan wrote, love is “not to be described, it is to be lived.”
