Question

Where is the ceremony/reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at John Boyd Thacher State Park at Hailes Cave. The address is: 1 Hailes Cave Rd, Voorheesville, NY 12186

Question

Are the ceremony/reception locations accessible?

Answer

Yes. It was something that we made sure was a top priority when selecting a venue. For the ceremony parking will be directly next to the ceremony site, the reception area is just up the hill (easy walk). There is handicap parking available for the reception, parking on the hill is limited and will be reserved for specific guests.

Question

Are the ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Outdoors, remember it will be the end of June so it will be warm, please dress accordingly. The reception will have a covered pavilion to save you from the sun. The ceremony will have no coverage.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please be clothed. In short, no there is no specific dress code that we are requesting you adhere to. Jeans and a t-shirt? Why not? Formal wear? Go for it. All we ask is that you are dressed in a way that you are comfortable enough to be photographed, dance, and overall have a good time.

Question

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Rustic chic elegance, overall we just want it to be a relaxing yet beautiful atmosphere for everyone.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

On formal invitations, they are addressed to the specific persons invited to the wedding, if on your invitation it says guest, you may bring one guest.

Question

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we love all of your kids and hope to see them soon, we are looking forward to celebrating our special day with our favorite adults.

Question

What time should we be there?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 2:30 PM, so we ask that you show up any time between 2:00 PM and then, we kindly ask for you to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the ceremony.

Question

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

We have an end time at 8:00 PM due to rules and regulations of the State Park (gates close at Sunset).

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Your own. Lyft and Uber are services available to you, so if you are intoxicated, please use those and do not get behind the wheel drunk. Buzzed driving is drunk driving. Please be smart and safe.

Question

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Please do! We would love that! You can even use #WeBeebeGettingMarried

Question

Will food be served?

Answer

Of course, have you met us? We're huge foodies! Keeping with the "theme" of casual and relaxing, it will be buffet style with a variety of BBQ foods, so be ready to eat with your hands.

Question

I have a food allergy or dietary need, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please inform us of any food allergies and/or dietary needs. We will do our best to find something for you.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Again, have you met us? This is the focal point of the night!

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

You may bring gifts if so motivated, however, at this time we have all the material goods we need (and definitely lack the room for more). In place, we have set up a Honeymoon Fund through the Zola website.

Question

What if I want to donate my services to the cause instead of give a gift?

Answer

Please reach out to Travis or Brianna, we will be happy to discuss!

Question

How can I RSVP?

Answer

All RSVP's should be done through Zola, see RSVP page.

Question

Do you have a room block with a group rates code?

Answer

Unfortunately, since our party is so small, we are unable to request a room block. Using other means such as Expedia can find you cheaper rooms.
