Our story isn't one out of the fairy tales, it was just two unexpecting people who happened to meet at the right time. It wasn't love at first sight but we grew together, feelings got stronger and love was in the air. Life together was just easy, no thinking just melding and building to ensure we reached or goals. Now we couldn't imagine doing life without our best friend by our side
At a work event they were raffling off Giants tickets and unfortunately Travis and I didn't win. However, a friend won them and he's a Cowboys fan so after a little convincing he was willing to sell the tickets for $100. I was able to get Travis to agree to buy them and it was going to be my first Giants game. The weatherman said that it was going to be -15 degrees the day of the game. It was a season where the Giants sucked and were playing the Redskins so I had hope, we bundled up so much that we looked like people that were visiting the tundra. When we finally got to our seats Travis disappeared for a little bit and came back saying he got our seats moved up. I had no idea what he had to do to get that but I wasn't going to say no. We ended up being 10 rows back from the field. I was so thrilled with excitement to finally be at my first football game and be so close my mind was anywhere but thinking about a proposal. It was about halfway through the game when the Redskins threw an interception and the Giants got it, I stood up screaming my brains out, I was so excited I look over to cheer with Travis and there he was down on one knee. I couldn't believe it, I was in shock, I was so cold that I couldn't even cry, I was shaking, I couldn't put the ring on because I had gloves on and I couldn't bear to take them off because of the cold. However although it was cold I still wouldn't change one moment about that day. For those of you that know me well my dream proposal has always been at a Giants game, and this man made it happen. He is everything I wished for and more.
