Please RSVP by August 1, 2023! We're doing it all online, so click that "RSVP" button up there or scan the QR code on the RSVP card in your invite and it'll guide you through attendance at the different events, meal choice, and more.
We've lived together for 3 years and are planning to move after the wedding, so we've been very intentional with the items we put on our registry - they are things we'll use forever! We've included a newlywed fund (that we plan to use for our honeymoon and starting our new life together) and those few items on the Registry link above, all of which you're able to contribute any amount you wish. We deeply appreciate it!
Suggested attire is "black tie optional" which means tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required. The museum is a gorgeous space so it's a good excuse to break out your fanciest :)
There will be no transportation provided. Richmond is a small city and everything is either a walk or a quick 5-10 minute Uber ride away!
There will be parking available for anyone driving to the wedding - there's a parking garage at the museum that will be free for guests. Street parking in the area is also very manageable in general.
The ceremony will begin at 6 pm at the VMFA so give yourself enough time to get in and get settled. The museum closes to the public at 5 pm, so if you want to explore the rest of the museum before closing (we'll have access to a few galleries during the wedding), you can do that before 5 pm. Inside and outside of the museum are truly lovely places to spend time, so don't hesitate to get there early to enjoy the art and the views!
We have three hotel blocks (a local boutique hotel called Linden Row Inn, a Courtyard Marriott, and a Holiday Inn Express) and additional hotel recommendations in the Travel tab above.
Feel free to text, call, or message Martin or Shelby with any additional questions!
