About five years ago, in the midst of the world being shut down, two people found love in Johnson Valley, California. Well, it didn't technically begin as a love story... more along the lines of a persistent battle to win over the heart of a woman scorned by love and adamant about height requirements. But that didn't stop Martin from pursuing the woman of his dreams. To the tune of "Caribou Lou" by Tech N9ne, Martin was intrigued by the tall blonde in her shiny, new Jeep Wrangler, romping through Johnson Valley's whoops as if she had the suspension of a trophy truck. Upon arriving at their destination atop the infamous Chocolate Thunder, Martin decided to make his move. He proceeded to ask Katie on a date, but was met with a sarcastic response and ultimately left the desert "in the friend zone." But anyone that knows Martin, knows he does not take "no" for an answer! So as the next few months transpired, he continued to pursue Katie, ultimately winning over her heart. Fast forward a few years, and our love story continues as we count down the days until we get to celebrate our love with all of the people we adore the most, in the place that it all began.
