We recommend staying at an Airbnb — there are plenty of great options! We especially suggest finding one near Parque Calderón in the center of Cuenca. It’s a beautiful and safe area, perfect for enjoying everything the city has to offer.

Rental Car

Azutaxi

Uber doesnt work in Cuenca, in the city we use Azutaxi. Download the app when you come. This app works like uber and payment is in cash. We dont recommend renting a car because parking can be a problem in the center of Cuenca and distances are short. Also we will be offering free transportation the day of the wedding for people that come from outside of Cuenca. If you want to rent a car we recommend renting in Europcar.

We highly recommend traveling around Ecuador before or after the wedding. Ecuador may be a small country, but it’s full of magical places. We especially suggest visiting the Galápagos Islands, Cotopaxi Volcano, Amazon Rainforest and many other incredible destinations.
