How long do Slovak weddings last? / Ako dlho trvá slovenská svadba?

Answer

Slovak weddings tend to last quite a bit longer than American weddings, but there will also be the main dinner, after dinner buffet, and then midnight pork and cabbage soup. Are there any driving differences in Slovakia? / Aké sú rozdiely v šoférovaní na Slovensku?

Driving laws in Slovakia tend to be similar to the US with a few of the important differences below: - Turning right on a red light is not a thing (unless there is an arrow) - Slovakia has a zero tolerance for alcohol consumption before driving (0.0 BAC is the maximum) and this is something taken seriously with occasional check points. - The speed limits are all in kph. The Wedding and Reception will be in both English and Slovak although the mass in the Church will be mostly in Slovak. / Svadba aj následná oslava budú v oboch jazykoch, omša však viacej v slovenčine.

There should be enough parking spaces at the hotel, near church, and also at the venue. / V prípade potreby parkovania je zaručených dostatok parkovacích miest v hoteli, pri kostole aj v kultúrnom dome.
