Yes he is the groom. One day while his mother was cooking, she interrupted a story she was telling about Tyler to tell me, "You know-Ty's a very loyal boy". I laughed and said that I could see that. Over the past 5 years, I have gotten the pleasure to see just how loyal of a boy he is. In every one of his pursuits, whether it is changing his body fat percentage through weeks of diet-changing and exercise, practicing guitar for hours on end 7 days a week, showing up to all sorts of hockey games at all hours of the night. He also has shown his loyalty through planning the "perfect" dates, becoming an active part of my family, and consistently and patiently building a future with me. Thank you for being such a "loyal" boy. I'm pretty pumped for us. Thanks for celebrating with us!

Long story short, if Martha wasn't marrying Tyler, she would marry Julie. Best friends since 2007 and it was probably one of the best decisions ever made. Through Boston Latin School trials and tribulations, differing friend groups and hobbies, living just a block away and states away, this sisterhood has withstood the swirls of life. He is truly one of a kind. Wild (some may argue feral) and full of surprises, he and the groom fell into a great deal of mischief growing up. Loyal until the end of time, Tyler is a true friend worthy of being a best man.
Chung Vuong

Serving as Best Man for the Catholic portion of the event, Chung Vuong is Tyler's oldest friend. Although they live miles apart, Tyler and Chung can pick back up whenever they get together. Always loyal, Chung brings level-headedness and a healthy skepticism that completes Tyler's life.
Grace Hall

I've known Grace since she was too sophisticated to crawl as a toddler. She has since grown into a wonderfully sophisticated young woman who never would be caught crawling still today! From refusing to crawl to now, Grace has been around for some of the best adventures. When I first got my driver's license, I was obsessed with driving to Nantasket Beach and when she had a free night, Grace was always a willing passenger. She has always had such drive for excitement AND sophistication and I'm so fortunate to have her as part of my bridesgang as well as my family.
Nick Curtin

Nick Curtin is an anomaly. A man who is unable to leverage technology to communicate, Nick often baffles people who first meet him. Tyler and Nick have been best friends since second grade, and their friendship bloomed as Tyler (at the time a hefty lad) protected Nick in backyard fights between the neighborhood kids. Nick is an amazing friend and would literally sacrifice anything for his friends.
Catherine Hall

Another perfect example of a bridesmaid who grew up like a sister to me. "Babydoll" or better known as Catherine has always been a light in the family, a strong funny kid growing up and now an even stronger, funnier woman who is able to connect and bring people together. When I first started introducing Tyler to my family, it was Catherine that first made him feel so at ease and comfortable. Not only do they share a birthday, but she also was super into martial arts and wanted to learn more about Tyler's background in jiu jitsu. Catherine adds her own spunk to this bridesgang and all of our lives.... Be sure to catch her on the dance floor too- You won't be sorry!
James Pijewski

James once thought of Tyler as a weirdo and had no desire to be friends with him. Now he knows Tyler is a weirdo but has quickly become one of Tyler's closest confidants. His comedic timing is legendary, and he has been known to revisit fart jokes often. James is a talented chef and a great friend to have.

I met Cassia in August 2007 and then we went to Hawaii. Now she lives in Hawaii! She was always my cousin- even though we met when we were 12 years old. Cassia has a way of making everyone feel paid attention to. She takes care to understand people's intentions and compares them with her own in such a way that really helps to identify the awesomeness that lies in understanding differences in people. I am so honored to have her not only be my cousin but be part of the MartyParty bridesgang. Be sure to catch her for a life-changing conversation!

Tyler hated Alex when he first met him. Okay, hate is a strong word, but Alex was a threat because of his height and his connection to Martha's former life (a life before Tyler). After resolving his own issues, Tyler realized Alex was an amazing individual full of talent, drive, and unbelievable commonalities to himself. Alex and Tyler were fast friends and have been inseparable since.
Kayla McLaughlin

I met Kayla outside Boston Collegiate Charter School in August 2005. It was warm so we were totally fine to hang out for the 2 plus hours it took for our parents to finish a conversation. We fell into step right there and never seemed to miss a step even if one of us is around the country. She was a teacher of friendship for me in fifth grade and now still continues to be but to fourth graders. I am so proud and happy to have my oldest galpal (not by blood) be part of this bridesgang!
Maddie Higgins

My life flipped in all the best ways when I met Maddie. We had a phrase that we threw around maybe too often, "If you don't do it, you're no fun". Some would call this peer pressure, others could say it helped to broaden our horizons. And that is exactly what Maddie is all about... broadening horizons while making everything feel like an adventure. I'm so fortunate to have her around to help commemorate this next big adventure. Jaymes is an unbelievably genuine human. A man in touch with his emotions, unlike anyone Tyler has ever met. Jaymes is loyal, kind, and unbelievably honest. Although they have been friends for a short duration, Jaymes is someone Tyler feels immensely connected to because of their vulnerability with one another.

He is the best bridesmaid boo there ever was. My first memory of our friendship was laughing controllably/uncontrollably on the red line coming home from school. It is debatable whether the friendship was cemented in 2008 or 2009- who knows! We were show choir nerds and learned how to be bad rule-breaking high schoolers together over the course of our time at Boston Latin School. Since then, he has put out two of his own albums! Mike Green is quiet, observant, and highly intelligent. He is someone that both Tyler and Martha can depend on and know would be there for them with a moment's notice. He is also one of the key reasons why Tyler and a group of his groomsmen have started playing for an adult hockey league.

Martha's beloved brother and Tyler's friend. Harry is indescribable. Often known for incredible catch-phrases and high-stakes voice acting, Harry has many talents. He often exhibits a lovable innocence and an innate ability to find entertainment in smaller details of life.

Mara was the girl next door in college, and good thing she was because it seemed that like in 2013 nobody else in the whole city of Lowell was vegetarian! Things have certainly changed since then. Mara highlighted the introduction to college experience for me and stuck around even after Freshman year!- So much so that we lived together for a time. Mara's calm confidence and genuine intrigue for any person she communicates with makes her not only a great long-time friend, but an amazing bridesmaid. She has since paved the way for marriage and she makes it seem more than just alright so I think I'll do it too!

Cam is intelligent, caring, and enjoyably pessimistic. Cam's pessimism is often grounding and humorous. It has helped Tyler in many uncomfortable situations where light-heartedness may not be the best solution. Cam has been a loyal friend for over 14 years and is an absolute friend for life.

THE BEST ROOMMATE EVER. 10/10 would room again. Niyah is welcome as a roommate for life even as I enter holy matrimony. From her inspiring condensed soup recipes to making every snow day feel like it's Christmas to having regular dance parties every day of the week, to challenging and accepting world views and cultural perspectives, Niyah has positively shifted my life. She's known me her whole life! Growing up, we were Zip (Sarah), Zap (Beth), and Zoop (me) which provided the inspiration for our late cat's name. Zap has since grown to be an astounding artist, a daring traveler, and a really great cousin and friend. If you see Beth, be sure to give her a ZAP!

The first time Tyler met Dan, the conversation went something like this: "Hey, when the guy with the knife comes onto the screen call me into the room." This was an appropriate precursor to their shenanigans. Tyler and Dan met working at Dunkin Donuts (their first job) and have remained close friends since. Tyler characterizes Dan as the type of friend who motivates an entire friend group and helps others achieve and execute at a high level.
Camille Gagnon-Fors

Camille and I met through musicking in Lowell, and she gave me a whole new perspective to performing. It can be fun! And it's a pretty cool activity to make and perform music with your friends! We did all the singing things that were possible throughout college. Camille has been an active performer for most of her life and I've always been astounded by her confidence and creativity. She actually is the reason Tyler and I ended up meeting each other officially. She arranged a very important carpool in freshman year that brought us together initially. THANK YOU!

Mosk is a legendary figure. In College, he was a close friend with both, the bride and the groom. He was the first person Tyler spoke with about his feelings for Martha. Although he was unsure of the outcome, Mosk remained loyal throughout the entire courtship and supported both sides of the eventual couple. He is a great man and even better friend.
