Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress to impress!! The dress code for our wedding is formal. Please don't wear jeans and ladies please don't wear white, ivory, champagne, or beige dresses.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we've decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. We hope you can still make it to celebrate our love story.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year in El Salvador?

Answer

February in El Salvador offers ideal, sunny, and dry "summer" weather, perfect for travel, with warm days around 86-90°F (30-32°C) and cooler nights around 60-68°F (16-20°C), minimal rain (about 3-4 days), pleasant sea temperatures (around 82°F/28°C), and light breezes, but expect high UV and pack light clothing.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors. The cocktail hour and reception will take place in an outdoor setting but will be covered.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Where should I stay and how do I get to the venue?

Answer

There are hotel recommendations under the travel tab. Also, any Airbnb in La Libertad, Tamanique, and Santa Tecla will be relatively close to the church and venue.

Question

Will the ceremony and the reception be at the same location?

Answer

No! The church will be about 30 minutes away from the reception venue. We are still working on transportation options. Please check back for more details.

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

The airport that you want to fly into is El Salvador International Airport Saint Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez (SAL).

Question

Do I need to RSVP to be able to attend?

Answer

Please note that our venue has a strict capacity and we are required to submit the final head counts by a certain date. If you are attending you must RSVP by the RSVP date.

Question

What if I can't attend after RSVPing?

Answer

We understand that things happen. We just ask that you let us know ASAP.

Question

Is there a wedding hashtag?

Answer

YES! #ForeverBarahona

Question

Will transportation be provided to the wedding events?

Answer

We are currently working on those logistics. It will mostly depend on where most guests will be staying. Also, as we get closer to the day we will have recommendations for private transportation that you all can reserve individually. We will keep this website updated with all of that information.

Question

Is Uber a good option for transportation?

Answer

Uber is widely available in major areas of El Salvador, especially in and around San Salvador, La Libertad, and popular tourist areas like El Tunco. Rides are easy to request through the app, and much cheaper than taxis.

Question

Will you be accepting gifts at the reception?

Answer

Your presence on our wedding day is the greatest gift we could ask for. Having you there to witness this special moment means more to us than any material gift. While we truly appreciate your generosity, we want to let you know that, since we're having a destination wedding, we've set up a registry on this page that will send everything directly to our home. If you're considering a gift, contributions towards our honeymoon would be especially meaningful to us. Thank you!
