We met one day without giving it much thought, but as our conversations unfolded, we discovered just how much we had in common. Both of us share a love for travel, value quality family time, and are spontaneous at heart. During our brief but meaningful time together, we have created countless cherished memories.

Our proposal in Cinque Terre, Italy was absolutely breathtaking. Here’s a funny twist: to ensure I looked my best for the proposal, Milton told me he had arranged a professional photoshoot to capture the trip. I was thrilled—until it started pouring rain, and we found ourselves searching for the photographer under the downpour. I suggested we reschedule, unaware of how much this meant to him. Milton seemed stressed, but I couldn’t grasp why it was such a big deal. Eventually, we arrived at the meeting spot, and the rain let up for a moment. At the top of the hill, he told me we needed to wait for the photographer, but he was already there, pretending to be a stranger capturing the scenery. Then, out of nowhere, Milton played the song he had always dedicated to me and got down on one knee. In that moment I didn't know what was happening around me, it was almost like a dream. It was a truly perfect moment, and we are so grateful to the Lord for bringing us together.

True to our spontaneous nature and love for adventure, we decided to elope at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. We knew we were ready to commit but weren’t prepared for a big wedding just yet, so we opted for a fun, quick route. To this day, we still talk about that experience, agreeing it was the best decision we could have made.

As we plan our religious ceremony, we are embracing all our similarities and differences, making sure that our individual touches shine throughout our special day. Lastly, we can’t thank you all enough for being a part of our #ForeverBarahona love story in one way or another.
