It is about an hour from Norfolk to Williamsburg; however, traffic can get congested in the Hampton Roads area.
Train
The train station is downtown and within a few blocks of the ceremony and reception site. However, CSX owns the tracks in Virginia, so Amtrak on-time performance rates are not great.
Hotel
It is our understanding that all the rooms in our block at this hotel have been booked. Rooms are still available at the hotel this weekend, but the group rate will not apply. We have asked that if there are cancellations in other blocks, we have more rooms added at the reduced rate and will keep you posted.
