Marina and Marta (AKA MarTina) have always called each other cousins but have been closer than sisters since they first met in Milwaukee. Marta came to visit her grandparents and family from California, and her aunt Faina decided to introduce her to another girl her age - Marina. 16 years and 200 Vegas trips later, they're still as close as could be.
Cecily Diaz
Maid of Honor
Cecily and Marta have been best friends since they met on the school bus in 6th grade. Their shared love for making prank phone calls, Friends, and hyphy music created the foundation for their friendship over the past 17 years. They continue to make prank phone calls, and probably won't stop until the nursing home they end up in together takes away their phone access.
Sofya Roytburg
Bridesmaid
Sofya is Alex's little sister with whom he's incredibly tight. They've always been there for each other in their biggest life moments like when Alex flew across the country to see his sister graduate with her DPT last year. Some of these moments have been better than others - like the time Sofya nearly had to evacuate her entire dorm after Alex decided to drunkenly snack on canned sardines in the middle of the night while visiting her in college. Marta is beyond thrilled to call Sofya her new sister and for a lifetime of rapping over Drake songs together while Alex tries to block out their noise.
Konstantin Burov
Best Man
Konstantin has been Alex's best friend and partner in crime since the two met in 8th grade. They were assigned to work to a group project together so Alex lent his library card to Konstantin. Naturally, Konstantin racked up a bunch of overdue book fees and Alex had to hunt him down. Their story was told to all underclassmen as a lesson in not lending out your library card. Since then, they've worked together, moved from New York, to California, and now to Colorado. Alex is still waiting for the repayment of those library fees.
Eugene Korenblyum
Best Man
Eugene is Alex's older brother, who also takes the role of a friend and father figure. Growing up, the two were always each other's biggest competition. Alex is currently serving a 1000 year sentence of dish washing, after losing to Eugene at a card game when Alex was 10 years old. He still has 978 years of dish washing to go. Through all of the good and bad times, they were always able to be one another's biggest supporter and champion.
Vadim Yushprakh
Groomsman
Vadim is Marta's older brother and favorite/only sibling. Marta credits her sense of humor and her lifelong ability to quote Simpsons to Vadim. Despite their 9 year age difference, Marta has always been super close to her big brother and is now completely head over heels in love with Vadim and his wife Nicole's three kids - Aidan, Cillian and Kiera.
