Dillon Reservoir Kayak
Join Evan and Taylor on Thursday 8/29 on the Dillion Reservoir for a guided tandem kayak tour! We are doing the “Morning Island Tour” starting at 9am. Please make your own reservations on the website linked if you are interested.
Downhill Riding on Peak 8
Join Evan on Friday 8/30 AM for downhill bike riding on Peak 8 in Breckenridge or join Taylor on Peak 8 restaurant patio for some drinks FYI-you can take the free gondola up to Peak 8 (starts in downtown Breckenridge) or use the free bus service to get to the base of mountain. Please register via link below for downhill bike rental if interested. Taylor will be hiking McCullough Gulch (20 minutes outside of town) before going to the patio to watch downhill riders. Plan to hike 8am-11am. Taylor plans on driving to trailhead. Parking reservations are needed and cost $20/car. There is also an option to take a shuttle for $7 from downtown Breck to trailhead. She will be arriving and starting hike at 8am from trailhead, please let her know if you plan on joining. Hike at Lower Mohawk Lake via Spruce Creek Trail
Join Evan, Taylor and Jerry on an early morning 6 mile hike (rated at moderately demanding) just outside of Breckenridge. We will be leaving Monday 9/2 from our condo at ~6am ish. Please let us know if you’d like to join so we know who to anticipate! The hike starts at Spruce Creek Trailhead (10k ft. elevation) estimated to take <4 hours roundtrip. The hike will include waterfalls, alpine lakes and scenic views from 13,000 ft. at the highest point.
