The most widely accessible airport located ~1.5 hours from Breckenridge is Denver International Airport (DIA). Then choose between a rental car company or shuttle service for ground transport. Breckenridge and other surrounding towns have so much to offer- hiking, whitewater rafting, numerous outdoor restaurants/patios, etc. Fell free to check out online resources. We will mention that businesses, in Breckenridge specifically, usually close down on/immediately after Labor Day for the upcoming two months to prepare for “mud season” aka the months where no tourists visit the area. ***With this said, traffic back into Denver becomes heavy on Labor Day as a lot of residents will be leaving the mountain town for the next few months. Please allow extra travel time to Denver airport. ***
