Lil's is located in Kittery, Maine and is only a quick, 5-minute drive (or 15-20 min scenic walk along the water) from downtown Portsmouth! They're famous for their incredible bagels and melt-in-your-mouth crullers. All of their pastries and breads are made on-site, ensuring unmatched freshness and flavor. Whether you're craving a quick bite or need a great coffee, Lil’s is a must-visit spot!

The Getty Bagel

[Coffee/breakfast spot] A locally loved bagel shop (which opened this year)! Getty Bagel hand‑rolls, boils, and bakes all their bagels in‑house, paired with yummy “schmear” offerings like maple‑bacon and chili‑crisp scallion. The best part? It’s just about a 10‑minute walk from downtown Portsmouth. Thinking about stopping by on a Saturday or Sunday morning? We suggest to check their Instagram beforehand (@thegettybagel) to make sure they haven't sold out for the day.

[Coffee or breakfast/brunch spot] One of our favorites! We recommend their Honey & Ricotta Toast and Cinnamon Roll (only available on the weekends)! This is a must-visit for artisan pastries, freshly baked bread, and exceptional coffee in a cozy European-inspired setting.
