Hello Friends! Here are your logistics for the weekend. Since the Naval Academy is a military base, we have some restrictions to how you can get onto The Yard and we ask you please follow these instructions due to the nature of the academy. If you are active duty military (especially those Academy grads coming) you are able to drive on if you like. For our friends that are not active duty: 1. If you would like to walk on, you are able to walk onto the yard and to the Chapel, see map. YOU MUST HAVE VALID ID TO GET THROUGH SECURITY. You will walk through the security checkpoint at Gate 1 and onto the yard. 2. If you are driving a personal vehicle, you will park at the stadium and take the bus that we have arranged for you, the buses will circle from the stadium to the academy twice. Once at 1:00 PM and again at 1:30 PM, please be on time and PLEASE HAVE ID. 3. If you would like to Uber, you may Uber to the stadium to take the bus or to the main gate and walk through security.
Our wedding will be formal. Greg's groomsmen will be in uniform (if military) as will our fiends in the arch. Ladies: Long or short dress or equivalent! Men: Slacks, Button up with or without jacket, tie optional.
Stay tuned for these logistics!
We are having an unplugged ceremony, so please silence all devices and keep them in your purses/pockets during that time. We have hired amazing photographers, so please let them do their thing! As far as cocktail hour and the reception - of course!! Snap and click away.
RSVP with your dinner choice but, signature drinks and cocktail hour pickings will be a surprise! We also promise the cake flavor will be unexpected but delicious.
You can add it to your RSVP or before the wedding, text Caitlin.
We'd love to celebrate with everyone, but guest are reserved for those listed on the invitation/rsvp page, please refrain from bringing friends and/or casual dates. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please RSVP as soon as possible. We are asking that everyone respond no later than August 15, 2022. We need time to account for how much food and beverages will be needed to accommodate all guests. RSVPs can change before then!
We would highly recommend booking your travel as early as possible! September is a very busy month in Annapolis and at the academy (and that was before all the 2020 postponements), which means hotel rooms may go quickly. The good news is, if you reserve a room through the discount link at The Graduate, you can cancel up to 48 hours before with no charge; so there's really no reason not to reserve your room now!
Definitely! Check out the "Things to Do" page above for some of our favorite places in Annapolis and into Washington DC.
We are registered here on Zola, additionally Amazon and William Sonoma (both linked to Zola as well). See "Registry".
Depends when you are asking! We will be living in Bethesda, MD until early June of 2022 and then we are moving to San Antonio, TX for the next 7 years! Hence the y'all - getting used to it early!
Leading up to the big day, feel free to call, text, or email either the bride or groom using the info below. Friendly tip, you will have better luck getting ahold of Caitlin.
