We’re excited to have a hometown bash with our nearest and dearest. For those who don’t live in Asheville, welcome. Kevin and Laura are ready to tie the knot! Our sincere hope is that our guests will come celebrate with us for a weekend - not only for our wedding, but for a mini-vacation in one of the hottest destinations in the fall. Let’s do this!

Picture this: Boy meets girl, online. She likes his photo of a fellow in a suit on a riding lawnmower. He liked that she answered correctly to his first question (“pancakes or waffles?” “WAFFLES!”) They meet at Catawba Brewery on the South Slope for their first date - Brown Bear and King Don’s Pumpkin Ale, respectively. Lots of discussion around Kevin’s profession in funeral service - Laura’s desk job wasn’t as interesting, ha!

We decided to take a weekend trip to Savannah to celebrate our 5th anniversary. We were going to make it to town before lunch (or as Laura likes to call it, BRUNCH!) and Kevin asked her to pick out a place to go. She picked B. Matthew’s Eatery and made a reservation. We ended up getting to town early, Kevin suggested that we walk up the block and grab a beer. We walked to Warren Square, then Kevin said that there wasn’t beer this way, lets finish walking around the square and go back. Once we were almost to the top of the square, Kevin said he wanted to start our weekend off right, dropped to his knee and asked Laura to marry him! After eating brunch, we went to Top Sail for rooftop views of the water and celebratory cocktails - we had a blast calling and FaceTiming all our friends and family with our news!
