ATV Tour around Antigua
Whether you want to visit the surrounding villages, mountains, or coffee farms, you can do so on a thrilling ATV tour around Antigua. Depending on which tour you choose, you can kill two birds with one stone. On the sunset tour and mountain adventure tour, you get to visit attractions like Cerro de la Cruz, Earth Lodge, and Hobbitenango, and get off the beaten path to watch the sunset over the volcanoes and valleys.
Volcan Pacaya Hike
Hike with us Monday Jan 13th. It is an easy climb 2 hours to go up, 1 hour to climb down. We will hike in the morning and stop somewhere for lunch, return to Antigua in the afternoon.
Tour to Lake Atitlan
Sunday Jan 12th, come with us to Lake Atitlan. We will leave at 7 am, be back in Antigua by 7 pm. We will take a boat across the lake and tour two towns. Click on the link to register

Visit the Historic Casa Santo Domingo Hotel & Museum
The grounds of Casa Santo Domingo are exceptionally beautiful. The hotel is situated on the grounds of a former 16th-century monastery and boasts lovely gardens, restaurant, and museum. This is also where my parents (Hannah's) had their wedding reception :)
Go on a Coffee Farm Tour
Antiguan coffee is famous all over the world for its strong arabica coffee with chocolate notes. The Centro Cultural La Azotea in neighboring Jocotenango is a coffee museum fully operational 150-year old coffee plantation with a 19th century working coffee mill. Also on site is a Mayan music museum. You can tour the coffee museum/grounds for around Q75 (US$10), which includes the entrance to the Finca, tour, and tasting.
Take a day trip to Hobbitenango
Spend a day at The Shire in Hobbitenango. You can try your hand at the archery or axe throwing, take photos on a gigantic troll hand that overlooks the valley and volcanoes, eat in a cozy restaurant, go on a mini thrill ride on a tree swing, play minigolf, and more!
Get lunch at a rooftop bar or café

Make your own chocolate

Shop at the Mercado de Artesanías
The Mercado de Artesenías is a massive market full of local handicrafts. It’s the best place in town to get souvenirs, and the prices are fair.
