We recommend that you choose to stay within walking distance of the wedding venue. Our venue is located within the historic part of Key West, called Old Town. Anywhere off of Duval or Whitehead Street would be an ideal location. If you are looking to book a vacation rental or home, the Truman Annex is a great area to stay in.
We chose not to commit to a room block since there are so many different accommodation options in Key West. We want to give our guests the flexibility to book whatever works best for their plans and their budget. Please check out our travel page for some recommendations!
The wedding will take place on Sunday, 1/19/25. We are planning on having additional events on Friday and Saturday (details TBA). To get the most out of your weekend, we recommend arriving on Thursday, 1/16/25 or Friday, 1/17/25 and staying until Monday, 1/20/25.
Our ceremony will take place at the Key West Lighthouse and our reception will be at the Hemingway Home. The Hemingway Home is directly across the street from where the ceremony will be held.
The venue will allow our guests to begin finding their seats at 5pm. We encourage our guests to arrive around 4:50pm so they can be ready to find their seats. The ceremony will begin right at 5:15pm. We ask that any late guests refrain from entering the ceremony space.
Formal attire - We suggest that men wear a suit and tie and women wear a midi to floor length dress. Please no casual or beachwear.
Yes - both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. Please monitor weather and plan accordingly as weather in January can be cooler in the evening. For any ladies that are wearing heels, a block heel will be best suited for our venues.
If you know us, the party is just getting started at 10pm. Please remain at the venue as we have a surprise for our Guests at the end of the reception.
We kindly ask to keep the wedding events adults-only.
Please reach out if you have additional questions! You can text David or Hayley. Alternatively, you can email menaged25@gmail.com.
