Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would really prefer for this to be an adults only event. But we know that that isn't realistic for everyone (especially our out-of-town guests). If your kiddos are included in your invitation group, please make sure to RSVP for them so that we can make sure they are accommodated as well. ** Please know that our venue requests that children (and adults, yeah you guys too) refrain from climbing any trees on the property, as tempting and climbable as they are.

Can I use my cell phone during the ceremony?

Answer

No. We have hired a professional photographer for the event and would hate to see a bunch of cell phones in the air blocking some good shots. SO what we have come up with is a "Social Media Minute". Once the Bride and the Groom are ready, before the officiant begins we will make an announcement that now is the time to get any pictures you'd want on your cell phones, tablets, cameras or whatever it is you brought before the ceremony begins proper. TL;DR - No. Please do not use them during the ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The event will be semi-formal. We additionally request that the wearing of white clothing be reserved for the bride.
