COVID-19

Answer

Looking forward to our big day and pray the grand celebration we imagine will get to take place. As of now that is what we’re hoping but for the safety of everyone we will follow our state & venue regulations. Both the bride, groom & majority of their immediate families is already been vaccinated, we encourage everyone to explore that option as well to keep us all save. At this time we have no intention of cutting our guest list but we will keep you all updated and we thank you in in advance for staying safe.

Is there a dress code?

Yes! Formal/Black-tie We can’t wait to see you in your best!

Is there an RSVP deadline?

Answer

We ask everyone fill out their RSVP online form before July 25, 2021. You can find more information on our RSVP page. If you miss the deadline please get in touch with the bride or groom immediately, because of the strict restrictions with our venue and can't guaranty we'll be able to alter our books.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will greatly be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. Or let the bride or groom know. If you're feeling sick we ask for the safety of others you stay home and watch the livestream at home.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that everyone arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as schedule.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list in order to stay on budget. Our Wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your invitation says “and Guest,” than yes!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is complimentary valet service for all guest. You will be able to find the valet on 2nd Avenue - the side of the venue.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

September in Michigan is a lovely time, usually around 70 - 75 degrees! Perfect to hit the beach, bar hop, or explore the city.

Do you have a hotel block for a guest? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have 15 rooms blocked off at the Western in Southfield and Marriott courtyard in downtown Detroit. We also recommend Airbnbs in the Royal Oak, Ferndale, and Midtown area! The wedding venue is located in downtown Detroit, and the family home is located in Southfield. For more information please view the travel page.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

On Monday the bride’s family will be hosting a farewell BBQ at their home. Their address can be found on the schedule page, all are welcome.

Will there be any vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free/special day option?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions please tell the bride and groom via your RSVP or text message - we will have a special meal prepared for you! We want everyone to be well fed at our event.

Do I need cash?

Answer

Although is not a requirement we ask that you think of the bartenders & server that we have hired for the day. Treat them well! The bride & groom will also be doing a traditional MONEY DANCE for those who want to participate! #DollarDollarBillsYall

What is your Covid-19 procedure during your wedding day with 150 people?

Answer

We want everyone to be safe while celebrating with us. There will be plenty of hand sanitizer for every guest to utilize at all time. Masks will be provided. Our reception hall is spacious enough for each table to be adequately spaced. Of course we ask if anyone is feeling ill in anyway to please stay home. The bride, groom, and their immediate families have been vaccinated.
