Our love story began in Detroit, MI memorial day weekend 2017! Jon was a regular customer at Checker bar, where Nyoweh just started working. When their eyes met - they were hooked! At the end of the night Jon finally mustered the courage to speak to Nyoweh! He made his way across the room, without introducing himself he utters “I couldn’t leave without telling you how beautiful you are” - he walks away! Days went by and Nyoweh couldn’t get that stranger out of her mind. After getting her little sister ready for prom June 1, 2017 Nyoweh and friends decided to go to Checker bar to catch up. While there the “hot guy” Nyoweh couldn’t stop talking about walks-in. Some flirtations brewed our cold beers, they exchanded numbers, as they say - the rest is history! 2 years worth of love, laughter and memories later Jon took Nyoweh back to where it all began and proposed! With tears running down her face Nyoweh said “yes!” We can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin!
