Will Figlu be there?
Answer
I’m sure the first question on everyone’s minds! Figlu will not be there in person due to the fact that he is an escape artist and cannot be trusted. But at the end of the day it is still HIS wedding and he’ll be there in spirit!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Early October in Virginia can be highly variable - we usually expect the 70s during the day (ceremony time) and 60s at night. But some early October days can be in the mid/upper-80s! or down to the 50s.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Formal attire. We’d love to see everyone dressed up for an evening of celebration and dancing. Suits with jackets, pant suits, and mid to long length dresses are perfect. All colors and patterns are welcome

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! And we look forward to sharing some fun signature cocktails with you. There will also be an open espresso bar for our fellow caffeine lovers

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony (no phones, videos, cameras besides our incredible professional photographers) to allow everyone to live in the moment and not obscure the professional photography

Children are welcome and will be specified on your RSVP. Please let us know if you have any questions or there is an isssue when RSVPing

What is the best airport to use?
Answer
CHO (Charlottesville) airport is our small local airport and about 35 minutes north of the venue. RIC (Richmond) airport is larger with many more flights and about 1.5 hours east of the venue. IAD (Washington Dulles) is the largest airport in the area, but is about 2 hours 15 min from the venue

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We have information regarding accommodations in the travel section of our site. Our venue does have several houses on the property that people can rent out and stay in! Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
There will not be transportation from the hotel to the ceremony. There is plenty of parking at the ceremony venue itself! The housing on site and Air BnBs are within walking distance/a several minute drive.
