WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Dora and Quentin have what they like to call an “Iowa City love story.” They met the day before classes started at the University of Iowa, while Dora worked for the university newspaper. She picked Quentin out of a crowd for her first story entitled, “UI plugs recycling at Sally Mason’s freshman party.” As it turns out, the words to win a girl’s heart were, “Giving students an opportunity to practice these habits will help them learn how to be more environmentally responsible.” They didn’t know it at the time, but it was the first chapter in their love story. Dora and Quentin kept running into each other during college, and then had a class together spring of sophomore year when they began dating. It wasn’t until later that they both realized Dora’s first interview on campus had been with Quentin. Since then, they’ve shared many Iowa City experiences together, a dog named Murphy, and now both share a wonderful life in Kansas City.
