Multnomah Falls
On the drive from Portland to Hood River. Check out Oregon's tallest waterfall. This place can get crowded on weekends, but thankfully there isn't a shortage of waterfalls to see in the area. There are many hikes from quick jaunts to heavy thigh burners to enjoy throughout the Columbia River Gorge. Just do some research on the trails due to the wild fires from 2020 and 2018.
Fat Tire Farm • Hood River Bicycles
Fat Tire Farm- Hood River (Formally Hood River Bicycles) has mountain bikes to rent and demo. We've used them before in world famous Post Canyon. Andrew and I hope to get a ride in while we're here. Bring a helmet and bike shorts!

Timberline Lodge
1 hour South from Hood River. Check website before going (due to Covid restrictions). The drive is beautiful and if you want some early ski turns in you can go up to Palmer Glacier on a lift! Exterior shots from The Shining were filmed at this historic hotel.
