FAQs

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

We are so fortunate to have so many friends and family members that want to celebrate with us that, but due to the limited capacity of our venue we are unable to accommodate any plus ones.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this is an adults-only celebration with the exception of children specifically named on the invitation. Thanks for understanding, and come ready to enjoy Colorado in the spring!

Question

Is there a Dress Code?

Answer

If we had to give it a label it would be "Campground Chic". Think: sun dresses, linen suits, and stable shoes! We want everyone to wear what they feel best in. If there's an outfit you have been wanting to wear, now is the time! Let’s have fun and look good doing it ;) Deer Creek Mountain Camp, while gorgeous, is a little bit more rugged than the usual wedding venue. Please note that you will be walking over grass, gravel, and stairs to get around; stable shoes are a must!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Your guess is truly as good as ours — Colorado weather is extremely unpredictable, especially in the mountains. While it likely will be 70s and sunny, we wouldn't be surprised to be hit with a snowstorm in May. Please be sure to check the weather forecasts for Bailey, Colorado as we get closer to the date!

Question

How much trash does the average wedding produce?

Answer

I'm so glad you asked — estimates are as high as 400 pounds per wedding! That's crazy! In an attempt to limit our footprint a little, all of the drinking cups from us will be reusable and recyclable. Please don't throw them in the trash, and also take a shot every time the bride talks about it! Please also bring a reusable water bottle, and if you are uncomfortable drinking tap water consider buying gallons instead of bottles. Love you!
